Jora McCoy
I found my passion for doing hair at the age of 11, particularly in braiding. I realized this is something I would like to pursue and make as my career, so I attended Empire Beauty School in Standale, MI after graduating high school in 2010.
I became licensed in 2011 and started the journey as a cosmetologist shortly after. I have now been enhancing my client's beauty for 8 years and I specialize in color and protective natural styles such as braids and sew-in extensions. This has been one of my greatest accomplishments because not many can say they have had a passion and succeeded in pursuing it. I am proud to say I am in the career field that I greatly enjoy for many reasons. I love encouraging my clients mentally, emotionally, spiritually and of course physically to always be and look their best. My goal is to build relationships with my clients, spread positivity, and make people feel and look good while giving them an environment where they can relax, unwind and release their stress in the midst of our busy lives.
